Participation in the Partnership Academy can generate benefits both for the individuals taking part and for their organisations and the regions where they operate.
Individual benefits – course participants can:
- learn the theory and practice of cross-sector collaboration in relation to practical experience from Poland and internationally;
- gain an understanding for the steps involved in building effective partnerships, as well as in managing them to generate maximum impact;
- learn how to adapt different methods and approaches to engaging partners in a partnership to their own needs and circumstances;
- experience and analyse how an effective partnership operates in practice;
- gain access to the experience and support of the National Network of Partnership Groups;
- join a growing global network of partnership practitioners convened by The Partnering Initiative;
- be awarded a Partnership Academy Diploma, which is a prerequisite for more specialized partnership training offered by the Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation and The Partnering Initiative.

Partnership
benefits – by participating existing cross-sector collaborations can:
- recruit a partnership practitioner who understands the dynamics of a cross-sector partnership and how to manage them;
- operate more effectively by putting into practice partnership principles;
- more fully realize the potential contributions of partners and so increase the impact of the partnership as a whole;
- introduce more effective ways of promoting and documenting the operations and impacts of the partnership;
- access the experiences and programmes of the National Network of Partnership Groups, the Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation and the Partnering Initiative.
